Media clip worklists

The Blue Billywig OVP makes it easy to manage large video libraries. Use the Worklist in the Media Library to focus on a smaller selection of clips and switch between them without losing your place.

1.0 | Adding clips to the Worklist

  1. Go to Media Clips in the left menu.
  2. Select the media clips you want to add. You can:
    • Click a checkbox to select individual clips.
    • Hold Shift and click to select a range.
    • Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on macOS) and click to toggle individual clips in or out of the selection.
  3. Click Add to Worklist.
Note:

If no clips are selected, the button changes to Add all to worklist, which adds all clips currently visible in the overview.

A sidebar opens on the right side of the browser listing your selected clips. Click any item in the list to open that clip; the worklist stays in view as you switch between them. Clips already in the worklist are skipped if added again.

The worklist is saved between sessions; your clips are still there when you return. The panel itself reopens closed; click Show worklist to expand it again.

2.0 | Managing the Worklist

  • To remove an individual clip, click the × button next to it in the worklist sidebar.
  • To clear all clips at once, click the Empty worklist (trash) button at the top of the sidebar.

3.0 | Keyboard shortcuts

Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the worklist without leaving the clip detail view:

ActionWindows / LinuxmacOS
Previous itemCtrl+↑⌘+↑
Next itemCtrl+↓⌘+↓

Navigation wraps around; going past the last item returns to the first.
