The Import from publication feature allows you to import media clips from another publication you own directly into your current publication. This is useful when multiple publications within your enterprise share content: the clip becomes available in the destination publication without consuming additional storage, and without the need to re-upload or re-transcode the file.

- Log in to the OVP and go to Media library in the left side panel.

3.1 | Imported metadata
All standard metadata from the source clip is imported along with the clip, including the title, description, tags, and other metadata fields.
Custom metadata fields are also imported, but will only be displayed in the OVP if the destination publication has those custom fields configured identically. If a custom field does not exist in the destination publication, its value will still be applied in the clipdata, but it won’t be visible.
