Channel Detail Page

A detail page opens a player covering the full browser window along with the video title and description.

1.0 | Display mode

Choose how the detail page is presented to viewers:

• Fullscreen: the detail page covers the full browser window. The player is displayed alongside the video title and description, with a customizable background.

• Modal: the detail page opens as a centered dialog on top of the Channel. The Channel content remains visible in the background.

2.0 | Fullscreen settings

The following settings apply when the display mode is set to Fullscreen.

• Player alignment
  Select the position of the player and the title/description.

• Background options
  • Display blurred thumbnail as background
    When enabled, a blurred thumbnail of the video covers the background.

• • Show transparent overlay (only when thumbnail background is disabled)
    When enabled, a blurred overlay covers the background.

• • Background color (only when “Display blurred thumbnail as background” and “Show transparent overlay” are disabled)
    When enabled, a solid color covers the background.

• Context options
  • Show related items
    Toggle on to show the related items below the player in the Channels Detail Page.

• • Show metadata
    Toggle on to show the video title and description alongside the player in the Channels Detail Page.

3.0 | Modal settings

The following settings apply when the display mode is set to Modal.

• Display mode
  • Show metadata
    Toggle on to show the video title and description alongside the player in the modal.
• Background color
  Set the background color of the modal.
• Font color
  Set the text color used for the video title and description inside the modal.
