The global search bar on the Home page makes it possible to search across all entities in the Blue Billywig OVP from a single location. It is accessible from the Home page at all times and returns results from multiple areas of the platform simultaneously.
1.0 | Searching
Type a query into the search bar at the top of the Home page. Results appear grouped by entity type as you type.
Each result shows the entity’s name, its identifier (such as a clip ID or label), and; where applicable; its status (for example, Published).
2.0 | Filtering results
Use the filter tabs at the top of the results panel to narrow results to a specific area of the platform:
- All — shows results from every area (default)
- Media library — media clips and playouts
- Ad services — ad-related entities
- Analytics — analytics-related items
- Publication settings — publication configuration items
3.0 | Result types
Results are grouped by entity type within the selected filter. For example, a search for “live” may return:
- Media clips — video files matching the query by title or ID
- Playouts — playout configurations matching by name or label
Click any result to navigate directly to that entity.
The global search searches across platform entities and navigation destinations. To search and filter content within the Media Library specifically (including filtering by date, tags, or status) use the Media Library search.
