Content Protection enhancements

Content Protection is being expanded to include two new exciting features. When setting up your content protection policy you can now choose between two variants of visibility. 

One of the variants will tease the title, thumbnail, and description of the media clip to your audience while disabling the option to play the video. This allows you to tease the viewer and nudge them to comply with the terms you set.

The new variant we are releasing fully hides the existence of the content for viewers who do not comply with the rules set in your Content Protection Policy. This means such users are unaware of the existence of the video and cannot see any data related to the content. Viewers that do comply can of course watch the full video.

Set on publication level

Additionally, we are adding the option to set a Content Protection policy on the publication level, extending the policy to all the media clips in your publication. Policies do not stack, so setting a Content Protection on an individual clip overrides the publication Content Protection policy.
