Release 8.3 24/06/2024
We’re pleased to release the 8.3 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
React support
Our player is on its way to run in React.js. This will allow anyone that uses the popular Javascript library to embed our player. We are already able to run local demo’s and will soon be integrating our player in the following open source project: https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-player
- Fixed an issue where you could not turn off Simulated Live once set.
- Fixed an issue with pagination in the featured header on Channels.
SDK
- We now avoid pre-loading in iOS to reduce data usage when set in the publication settings.
- Fixed an issue with the iOS SDK not respecting the set noChromeCast setting.
- Fixed an issue with showing related items when there are no items available on iOS.
