Custom field groups

There is a new way to order custom fields. We added the option to create custom field groups to add your custom fields to. By making custom field groups you can:

• Organise custom fields into different categories
• Order custom fields within a group to your liking
• Choose for what entities custom field groups should be shown (by default)
• Toggle field groups within the selected entities

Creating custom field groups allows you and your colleagues to better manage metadata for your different types of content. They provide additional structure and can enhance the success of your clips, channels and other content.

Custom metadata on Channel detail page

Custom metadata can now be displayed on the detail page in Channels. This enhancement allows for the presentation of more detailed information about the currently playing video.

To enable the display of specific custom metadata fields in Channels, ensure that the “Shown in public output” option is selected within the settings of those custom metadata fields.

Additionally, a new display option is now available for related items on detail pages. Instead of the existing carousel, you can now choose to present related items in a vertical list.

SDK – VAST renderer

Our iOS and Android SDKs now support the rendering of VAST either from a literal XML string, or retrieved from an ad tag URI. With this lightweight rendering, you can support your advertisements in new ways.
