We’re pleased to release the 8.23 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
Channel playlist thumbnail sizes
This update allows you to customize the thumbnail sizes for each playlist, letting you spotlight important content and create a more visually engaging channel. Thumbnails can be set to small, medium, or large for each individual playlist, with a separate size option for mobile devices.
Additionally, you can improve the channel’s visual appeal by removing the gradient from playlist edges.
- Fixed an issue with sharing from iframe embeds.
- Fixed an issue with uploading and processing WebP thumbnails.
SDK
- Added a playerViewDelegate in both iOS and Android for custom stat hooks.
- Added French and Finnish translations to iOS and Android.
- Removed advertisement placeholder text when this is missing for Outstream on iOS.
- Improved “Learn more” redirects by redirecting to Click through URL for Outstream in iOS.
- We now support responsive aspect ratios showcased in our iOS demo app.
- We now hide the close button when playing an advertisement to not cover the “Learn more” button on Android.
