Release 7.75 08/02/2022
We’re pleased to release the 7.75 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
We completely overhauled our Channels feature making it ready for the future! Next to updating the look and feel of our Channels, we also simplified the Channel creation process and made it easier to customise a Channel’s look and feel.
This update includes:
- Redesigned all Channel elements to have a more modern look and feel
- Completely overhauled our Channel creation flow within the OVP
- Improved responsiveness of our Channels
- Introduced a new Featured element
- Introduced more branding and customisation options
- Introduced the option to configure a back-up livestream with automatic fallback mechanism
- Introduced support for the WebVTT subtitle format
- Introduced the option to preview an ad schedule from the editor
- Introduced the option to include the (external) Source ID property in the media clips overview
- Introduced several performance improvements to the player that will positively impact the performance on projects with many individual clips and widgets
- Improved our transcoding approach for diverging dimensions
- Removed all mentions of our outdated Adobe Analytics implementation
- Fixed an issue where the end date is not included in the performance stats when setting a custom date range
- Fixed an issue with HTML tags in the description of a video
- Fixed an issue with ad schedules still being attached after delete
