We’re pleased to release the 7.112 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
Custom Chromecast Receiver
We created our own Blue Billywig Chromecast Receiver. This means broader support for more video formats when Chromecasting and more features that can be used while casting. These features include scrubbing through the progress bar, mute/unmute and a slick look and feel.
- We now show an indication when the player starts in a muted state and allow viewers to easily unmute the player through that indication.
- Improved the way we show the login page for publications that only use Single Sign On.
- We’ve implemented data source selection for our Select widget in the Interactive Studio.
- Fixed an issue where cancelling Chromecast for Live videos would cause a black screen.
- Fixed an issue with the worklist being displayed over part of some modals.
- Fixed an issue with DVR chunk cleanup.
- Fixed an issue with WebDAV ingest idle detection.
- Removed the option to select the thumbnail from the video for live streams.
SDK
- Our Outstream player in the SDK is now consistent with our player on web.
- Fixed an issue where the control bar would rarely be hidden when showing related videos.
