We’re pleased to release the 7.111 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
DVR in Live
We extended our Live platform and now include the ability to turn on DVR (Digital Video Recorder). With DVR you can rewind your Live stream up to 3 hours back in time. When DVR is turned on for a Live stream, our player detects this and shows a progress bar that dynamically updates.
New iOS skin
We are launching the new player skin in our iOS SDK. Our player now reflects our buttons and styling on both Android and iOS. This means that the latest version(s) of our native SDK(s) now have a very neat looking player that is in line with our web skin and offers an amazing user experience.
- Improved our quality selection mechanism.
- The “Generate transcript” button is now called “Generate subtitle” as it’s more in line with the end results.
- Improved the way we display custom languages in the subtitle editor.
- Allow setting price granularity for Prebid Auctions.
- Allow setting which bids are sent to the ad server for Prebid Auctions.
- Fixed an issue with the trimming of clips that have no source version and an HLS/Dash asset.
- Fixed an issue with rendering a smart playlist as a sitemap.
- Fixed an issue with templates blocking other interactive elements in a project.
- Fixed an issue with iOS not defaulting to HLS.
- Fixed an issue with table headers in Firefox.
- Fixed an issue with DVR manifest being partially written.
- Fixed an issue with updating the user in HubSpot.
SDK
- Reworked the UI workaround on android with Event Emitter.
- Launched our new iOS skin.
- Improved error handling.
Player skin improvements
- Fixed an issue with scrubbing on iOS.
- Improved the semantic structure of our player skin for better support for screen readers and accessibility tools.
