We’re pleased to release the 7.110 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
React improvements
We’re continuing the effort of improving React to make it even more relevant and usable for ourselves and our clients. This sprint we’ve added:
- General comments – Originally, all comments within a React page are connected to a specific clip and timestamp. While this works great for providing feedback on specific segments of a video or project, we noticed that it wasn’t possible to leave a general comment about the entire video or project. Therefore, we now allow React users to leave a general comment that is not connected to a specific clip or timestamp.
This can be used to leave a comment on the volume mixing, colour usage or any comment that applies to the entire video or project.
- Added the option to revoke account credentials for YouTube
- Improved the security of our iFrames
- Added keyboard support for the context menu (up/down & enter)
- Fixed an issue with player sizing for non-landscape videos
- Fixed an issue when using a playlist as the first item in a playlist
- Fixed an issue with controlling volume from timeline
- Fixed an issue with thumbnail sets for older clips
- Fixed an issue with channels preview in the OVP
- Fixed an issue with the rendering of the transcoding preset options
- Fixed an issue with keyboard toggle C and no subtitles present
