We’re pleased to release the 8.53 version of the Blue Billywig Online Video Platform.
- Snapping was added so that Shorts fall better into place when scrolling.
- We removed the notification of certain media clip options moving.
- Releasing the new “columns” layout variant of the Channels Promotional element.
- The Ad Units screen layout has been updated to look even better than before.
- Fixed unscrollable modals that fall out of screen on certain screen/zoom sizes.
- Fixed a spinner showing indefinitely when refreshing the preview of an interactive video.
- Fixed an issue with controlling playback speed with the keyboard or API.
- Fixed an issue where the language of a video would match the publication default instead of the video assets default.
- Fixed an issue with Channels falling back to non-custom fonts.
- Fixed the public cast-started event not including the cast session ID.
SDK
- We ported settings that turn subtitles on/off when a video starts muted.
- Implemented multiple minor tweaks to our Channels Flutter SDK.
- Released a Flutter wrapper for Channels with our native player.
