As of Friday December 10th, Blue Billywig has paid close attention to the publicly announced exploit within Log4j: a common Java logging library. We have immediately conducted a complete scan of our systems: none of the services accessible to the public are currently utilising the Log4j library and none have therefore been exposed to the exploit. Although one of our internal systems did rely on the affected Log4j library, this system requires authentication and was therefore not directly impacted. We have nevertheless taken immediate measures to eliminate the vulnerability for this internal system.
